MEGA Spark 450X: enduro or supermoto?

The MEGA Spark 450X is a twin-cam, liquid-cooled 449 cc motorcycle with EFI fuel injection and a 6-speed gearbox. With front and rear LED lights, indicators and a horn it is road-registered, so it can be ridden off-road and on the road. With the optional wheel and tyre set it can also be ridden as a supermoto.

Engine

A balance shaft is used to reduce the vibration an engine produces as it runs. The fan keeps air moving through the radiators at low speed. We explain how EFI differs from a carburettor in our EFI article.

• 8.5-litre fuel tank
• Engine guard, wide non-slip seat, premium black plastics

Enduro or supermoto?

An enduro is a motorcycle built for off-road riding that, with lights, indicators and plates, can also be used on the road; it usually runs a large front wheel and off-road tyres. A supermoto is the same type of bike fitted with smaller-diameter wheels and road tyres for tarmac. On the Spark 450X the supermoto set (wheels/tyres) is optional.
